So, you may be (or maybe not) be wondering, "how and when did I start using Live Store and One Live Network?" Well, it all starts on the 16th of June, 2025, just when I moved into a shared apartment temporarily, I found a Lumia 520 randomly in the kitchen, and I thought "Wow this phone is kinda interesting, I wanna try it, but it doesn't have a battery". Some days later, an AliExpress battery arrived! (yes I'm cheap and didn't have enough money for the real battery) I charged it, turned it on, and experienced the joy of using Windows Phone 8, but since I wanted to install apps, I found some guides on how to do it, which meant installing Live Store, so I upgraded to WP8.1, did some sideloading shenanigans, and lo and behold, I actually could install stuff on there, and when I found out there was an old Twitter, I was basically hooked on that, and actually enjoyed using WP since it was less modern for the modern apps I use, thus not doomscrolling much. After some time, the 520 started to die and I was already thinking of upgrading, and I had 2 choices a 925 that was basically mint, and a 930 with no buttons, and I don't regret choosing the 930, I love it so much. Then a whole lot happened, another move in, whole lotta things posted, went outside a lot more, enjoying that sweet PureView camera, it was a blast, I even bought some other phones from 2013, but then it stopped. Didn't use the phones much, Flirb shut down (RIP, but the past is left behind), and stayed at home almost all the time. But then, on July 20th, I got a random ping about testing One Live Network, and lo and behold, an excuse to bring my Lumia back, then Sync came, Mail, some apps arrived (even WP 8.1!), and then Places came too, on this day. And then I just found out that this is just reviving Windows Live again, and I'm happy of being part of the One Live userbase :)
